About
Since I was little, I’ve always been passionate about helping others and telling stories. Now, combining those two worlds is a reality with my work as a therapist, author, and actor.
After obtaining my Master’s in Women’s and Gender Studies at the University of South Florida, I decided to continue my education at Mercer University School of Medicine in Atlanta by getting my Marriage and Family Therapy degree and sex therapy certification (Amerincan Board of Sexology; American College of Sexologists) to help individuals looking to explore their sexuality and help couples regain their magical spark.
I became interested in the therapy field through my work as a sex educator at the University of South Florida. I enjoyed teaching, but quickly realized one on one conversations with students proved to be more powerful outside of the classroom. So, looking for a new direction in the field began my love for therapy. Now I’m living my dream as a licensed MFT and Sex therapist helping clients from around the world.
As a therapist and author, I write about the funny things that happen in life, along with tips and tricks to be your best version of you. Writing as a multicultural 30-something middle class American bilingual pansexual cisgender woman with an invisible disability, I can change my small corner of the world one word at a time.
I love fiction and writing my own helps bridge mental health awareness and social justice together. My books are available now wherever books are sold. My debut novel, Dawn Among the Stars, was nominated for a 2019 Georgia Author of the Year Award in the First Novel category and the James Triptee Award.
When I’m not working, you can find me on stages throughout Metro Atlanta performing to my heart’s content. It’s a great way to balance out what I do daily and release my creative side so it can flourish. Keep an eye on my events page for my next performance.
