Since I was little, I’ve always been passionate about helping others and telling stories. Now, combining those two worlds is a reality with my work as a therapist and author.
After obtaining my Master’s in Women’s and Gender Studies at the University of South Florida, I decided to continue my education at Mercer University School of Medicine in Atlanta by getting my Marriage and Family Therapy degree and sex therapy certification (American College of Sexologists) to help individuals looking to explore their sexuality and help couples regain their magical spark.
I became interested in the therapy field through my work as a sex educator at the University of South Florida. I enjoyed teaching, but quickly realized one on one conversations with students proved to be more powerful outside of the classroom. So, looking for a new direction in the field began my love for therapy. Now I’m living my dream as a licensed MFT and Sex therapist helping clients from around the world.
I write articles about love, sex, and relationships with the hope to one day create change in my small corner of the world. I also love to write fiction, bridging mental health awareness and social justice together. My books, Dawn Among the Stars, Fading Starlight, and Stardust Emerging are available now wherever books are sold. Discover what it means to be human in this feminist science fiction series. My debut novel was nominated for a 2019 Georgia Author of the Year Award in the First Novel category.
Writing as a multicultural heterosexual 30-something middle class American bilingual cisgender woman with an invisible disability, I can change my small corner of the world one word at a time.
