Trust in Healthy Relationships

Ah trust…. So hard to earn and moments to destroy. When couples come to see me it’s usually in crisis, which makes re-bonding somewhat difficult. They want to keep score and get to the root of the problem as quickly as possible. I feel for them, I do, but meaningful things take time to grow—plus life isn’t a game. There isn’t a score board.

When we get to work, we focus on play, adventure, and friendship—the secret ingredients to a healthy and happy relationship.

My husband and I attempting Acro-Yoga for the first time. Lot’s of trust needed!

Thought I’d say sex didn’t you? Nope. Sex is a symptom. When things are good, it’s hot. When it’s not… Y’all call me. I’ll talk about that another time…

Trust is so important. It allows you to do all things; to let your guard down; to be free enough to explore the world with someone you love. It’s scary and wonderful at the same time. It’s the one thing we need as humans to live our best life.

How are you maintaining trust in your relationship? What new adventures are you going on together?
